This muffin base recipe is the best and you can use any flavours you like,
DRY
1.5 cups organic flour-Gluten free/Spelt
3/4 cup organic sugar
2 tsp heaped baking powder
WET
1/3 cup cold pressed grapeseed oil or organic extra virgin olive oil
1/3 cup milk (of choice)
1 free range organic egg
2 tsp organic vanilla essence
Choose 1 cup of any of the following variations:
1.
1 tbs organic cinnamon
1 cup organic sultanas
2.
1 tbs organic cinnamon
1 cup grated organic carrot
3.
1 cup blueberries
4.
1 cup organic choc chips
5.
1 tbs organic cinnamon
1 cup chopped organic pear and or apple
Sift the dry ingredients, add the wet ingredients. Do not over mix, just mix until combined with a spoon
Add variation of choice, mix.
Spoon into baking trays and bake for 20 mins @ 180 degrees.
